Child Abuse Attorney

Miami, Florida

The attorneys at The G Law Group are proud advocates of children who have been injured by abuse or neglect and need a strong voice in our civil justice system.  Child abuse in Florida and the rest of the country is a growing concern.  According to The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), “At least 1 in 7 children have experienced child abuse and/or neglect in the past year.”  Tragically, the true statistics for instances of child abuse are likely even higher, as most forms of abuse often go unreported.

These statistics should come as no surprise.  As more and more children are regularly placed in the care of babysitters, daycare centers, religious groups, schools, camps, and other organizations.  Especially now as most employers are loosening Covid-19 restrictions and asking that their employees begin working in the office, it is simply impossible for parents to supervise their children 24 hours a day.  Unfortunately, children are especially vulnerable and defenseless when it comes to abuse and negligence.  They can be easily intimidated, manipulated, tricked, or scared, making it especially difficult to detect and deter child abuse and neglect.
